Community Groups

Community Organic Garden of Sequim (COGS)  We love our community gardeners and are proud supporters and participants in this effort that brings together individuals, local government officials, volunteers and non-profit organizations.  An example of all of us working well together to create something special.

Friends of the Fields has been working to preserve farmland in Clallam County for many years and after much hard work recently saved the historic Finn Hall Farm in Agnew, WA from development.  Good job y’all!

Guide Dogs for the Blind  Anybody who has seen the special bond between service animal and human will want to learn more.

Local Harvest  LocalHarvest is America’s #1 organic and local food website. We maintain a definitive and reliable “living” public nationwide directory of small farms, farmers markets, and other local food sources. Our search engine helps people find products from family farms, local sources of sustainably grown food, and encourages them to establish direct contact with small farms in their local area.

Peninsula Friends of Animals (PFOA)  This vital local organization is a no-kill, non-profit animal welfare group serving the North Olympic Peninsula.  Come by The Rooster to purchase a pair of fabuluous potholders and support their efforts!

North Olympic Land Trust (NOLT)  Interested in the preservation of farmland, wildlife habitat, local ecosystems and other vital environments on the Olympic Peninsula?  This is the organization for you.  NOLT is now the permanent home of Friends of the Fields.

Sequim Humanities and Arts Alliance (SHAA)  We support Sequim artists and this group working to promote public art awareness.
